Madeline and Bert worked with my son to prep for the ISEE so effectively that his test results didn't show the challenges he started out with. I couldn't have been happier! From their welcoming home (including animals my son loved!) to Madeline's flexibility and Bert's humor, not to mention their genuine care for my son, it was the perfect combination for our family. My son walked away prepared not only for the ISEE, but also for future standardized tests.
We are so grateful to Bert and Madeline. They are just so warm and reassuring. Bert is very patient and brings math to life using a multi-sensory approach, personalized examples, and even games. He is so much fun that my daughter was actually disappointed to miss a recent tutoring session with him! Her confidence, understanding, and even enjoyment of math has rapidly improved. I can bring her current homework or recent exams and he quickly and flexibly customizes his lesson to meet her needs. Madeline is also very knowledgeable about learning styles and can recommend which schools would be a good fit for your child. Their new workspace has a convenient location and parking. I highly recommend these lovely teachers and educational coaches.
My daughter has been receiving extra help from My Learning Pathways (working with Bert) for two years. She enjoys his sense of humor, patience, and ability to break down the math equations. She leaves her sessions with more confidence and smiles. Bert and Madeline are both easy to communicate with and flexible. Our daughter has not attended eighth grade due to her medical condition and has been home schooled. Bert Schroeder through My Learning Pathways has provided her an exceptional in-home tutoring service. They have been working on English, Social Science, and Math. Our daughter is looking forward to meeting Bert every day and his positive teaching method has made Math (a boring subject for her) very fun. Bert comes to our home for the lessons and he is very accommodating and flexible with our schedule. This week we switched to distance-learning and were concerned due to our daughter’s attention deficit. However, Bert has made distance-learning fun for her and she has been engaged throughout the lessons.

For various medical reasons, my son struggles to learn, particularly in math. I've hired multiple tutors. They helped my son with homework, but they didn't help him learn and retain. Now my son is facing the ISEE, which will give him access to smaller classes with master-level teachers. So I started my research and found my way to Bert Schroeder, an educational therapist who has done an outstanding job preparing my child for the ISEE by teaching him concepts using tools unfamiliar to me but very effective. My son loves Mr. Bert's outlandish puns and his energy. You can tell this guy loves to teach!
